Knife in Magazine ID

Steve asked me to post this for him. A collector approached him about this knife he made which has engraving on it by Ron Skaggs. The collector had seen the knife a few years earlier in a magazine before he bought it and was trying to find out which magazine it was in. It's a long shot, but any help would be appreciated.

That's a nice piece of work! I can't read the name on the blade; who is the maker???

I haven't seen the knife in a magazine but the maker is Steve Johnson.
