If I carry my ESEE RC6 in my backpack would that be a concealed weapon? Or would that be like a unload gun in a case?

It's really up to the LEO that finds it. I've worked with officers who really didn't care if a knife was legal for carry; if it was sharp, they were taking it. But really if someone is going through your pack searching for contraband/weapons I'd assume you're already in some deep doo-doo... Use descretion. If you know you'll be visiting some secure facility or somewhere where there is a high probability your luggage will be searched, leave it at home.

Depends on local laws. In many states, parks etc. it would be considered a concealed weapon. Keep in mind that if your pack is in your backseat and you have a knife large enough to be defined as a weapon in your state it will almost definitely be considered a concealed weapon.

Do you have a concealed weapons permit? If you're asking questions like this, you may want to think about it. And of course check your local laws/destination's laws, ounce of prevention, etc., etc....

Yes, your nearest state police station would be a good place to start.

Different States have different CC laws. Concealed weapons permits here do not allow for concealed carry of knives, only guns (go figure). I typically walk around with an ESEE 4 in my pocket, I just like having it on me. I've never taken it out of my pocket, nor have I ever been randomly searched. If I am going to a show or something I just leave it at home.
