Here is one I have in progress.

Damascus is 1095, 15n20 twist

I am going for a deep etch, with carbons buffed out.

Handles are nice ironwood and will be fully sculpted with integral guard.

This one is stout and thick. i am calling it "Bull Pup"
It is 9.5" OAL

Here are some teaser pics!

I really like how the grain of the wood and the twist of the steel run not-quite perpendicular to each other. They compliment one another well

TikTock, Stunning knife!! Very nice flow on the design. It's a beauty all the way. Looks like grip retention won't be a problem either. ;)

Also, congrats on the eveness of the lighting in your photos. Did you shoot them outdoors on an overcast day or in the shade of a building perhaps? Good shots.

These were shot outdoors on a gloomy, almost drizzling day...gotta wait for the bad wether to get pics like this I suppose!

Thanks for the comments. I still need to do filework, etch the tang, and then finish the handles.....

You can call it bullpup, but I'm going to call it pimp. ;)

Seriously, very nice work.

Sweet! Now hurry up and finish it! The desert ironwood is gonna look great waxed and polished with that blade.
