knife in " The Edge"

I was watching the movie "The Edge" and was curious if anyone that has seen the movie knows what knife it is that Anthony Hopkins was given and used in that movie. Looks nice and was wanting one, you know how it is.

anthony hopkins also used a spyderco to disembowel some poor guy in one of the hannibal lechter movies. he likes his knives!

yep, saw that in Hannibal. Cannot remember which one it was but it was Hannibal. Right before he threw the detective off the balcony.

Ever see the movie Gladiator(the boxing one, not the one in Rome) with Brian Dennehy? In the beginning there's a thug who pulls out a Spyderco Mariner to fight with.

Dylan, you're probably right. As I recall those knives were in the $1000 range.

Just heard back from Brian. He no longer makes this kife in a lockback config, liner lock only now. A liner lock version of one identical to the one in the movie is $1600. You can get a basic version for around $720. I'd like to get one, but being a student, it's out of my price range.
