How about post some pictures to show your knife in the field?
e.g. in fly fishing, hunting, mountaineering, besides the ocean, in the forest, in the lake, etc?

Sure - but you should start, since it's your thread:thumbsup:
Of course 😅

When I see the pictures posted in the most popular thread in this forum, there are so many great photos, bring knife (knives) into nature with picturesque scenery, with food looks so tasty, with hunting deer, with fishes, in everyday work. No doubt, holding blades just for collecting and show are cool enough, but it's so exciting when seeing them in the field, or in the wild.

This photo was taken when the first time I brought a real blade into the field - an outdoor activity, though not used during hiking.
I haven't used a knife in the wild yet, the most common usage is to cut meats, fruits in kitchen.😬 with some reasons, I even haven't went camp with knife, but the reasons are just reasons, from this year, I plan to go camp or fishing as many time as possible, with knife, to let them play their real role.
The food, the field or the wild are the best supporting role or background for the main character - knife.

There are a couple threads, blades on hikes in this sub forum and a walk in nature in the traditional sub forum. I am not savvy enough to post links to these.

I applaud your enthusiasm, but I think you've got it backwards there...

Just saw the "blades on hikes" one that's exactly what attracts me.
In this post, hopefully there can be more images in outdoors, e.g. fishing, outdoor camp (cooking), hunting, etc.

Not sure if this qualifies for "...in the field", but I've spent a buttload of time, many times all alone (*hence my "handle"), at remote South Texas Farms and Hunting Ranches...fields, pastures, creek bottoms, Ranch roads, senderos, etc.

My little 107E has been my constant and loyal companion. I've spent more "quality time" with this knife than I did with my ex-Wife...

This ^^^ little blade had been my "camp hatchet", "machete", food prep knife, coffee stir, overnight "under-the-pillow" knife, etc. 🤷‍♂️

As long as a knife in real use, it's "in the field" 😁
My next wishing knife is something like your one, can be used as survival, machete in the wild. Great one!
