knife in wallet

I try to get one of these T.H.E wallets by SpecOps. Thing is, that I want to equip it with a knife that will always stay in the wallet to be at hand when I need it.
Any suggestions about a quality knife, that has a blade of about 3 in. frame or linerlock, a clip, and is slim enough to reside in the wallet? Cost should be about between 50 and 100 USD,-- or so.

From what I hear, with T.H.E. Wallet, you won't have any problems fitting any knife, perhaps a small machete even,;) into your wallet. However, from personal experience I'd recommend the Spydercard, now discontinued, but still rather easy to find, but, unfortunately, it lacks the pocket clip you requested. Hope this helps.

Another knife in the wallet would be the aluminum handled bantam by Victorinox. I carried the Spydercard for many years and switched to carrying the bantam because in addition to the knife blade I got a screwdriver, bottle opener, can opener and wirestriper all in one thin package without the weight of the spydercard.

Just an idea. :)

Neil Blackwood and Jeff Hall (Nemesis Knives) both have titanium card designs.

They're just about as thin as a credit card (the SpyderCard and SOG are both about 3 credit cards thick....), sized the same otherwise, and are razor sharp and super pointy.

The Nemesis piece doesn't come with a protective sleeve like Blackwood's, but it hasn't managed to puncture my Coach wallet yet -- :)

Just remember to keep these knives at home when you go to the airport or a courthouse !!!!!!!

Revierler, I have T.H.E wallet and a lot of good small knives, so I tried them out.

The small Sebenza, Darrel Ralph EDC, and Ka-Bar Thorn are all about 3" blade, 4" handle, and 3/8" thick. The clip adds to the thickness; you might want to take off the clip for a hideout knife. You can store any one of these knives up behind the card slots so it doesn't show when you open the wallet, but can be slipped out into your hand very quickly. In fact, you could put two of them there :)

The Benchmade Big Spender and the Spyderco stainless steel Cricket are 2.5" and 2" blade framelocks that can actually fit inside a card slot, again especially if you remove the clips, but you don't need to.

Of course, the Spydercard will fit in a card slot almost invisibly. In fact, it fits nicely in the ID card slot on the outside of the wallet, and can't be seen with an ID card in front of it, but it takes a little tugging to get it out.

All of these do bulge the wallet out a bit, but with T.H.E wallet, who would notice?

I keep a SpyderCard in my wallet, just a plain leather trifold. Actually did take it into the courthouse, just put the wallet in the basket.
Knives Plus used to sell a nylon wallet with a 'built in' knife (small folder in its own pocket); I think it was by Case.

I've got a spydercard, now in my BOB kit. I went flying with it in my wallet back in aug 02, along with a few toys that I forgot about and was lucky to get on.

Another vote for the Victorinox Bantam. It will fit in most any wallet and you won't hardly be able to tell it's there.

I second the AG Russell featherweight one handed folder as it's very light and is a nice handy little knife. Also consider the Benchmade 330/335 minus the scales or money clip. I have also tried the SAK Bantam in my THE WALLET and it becomes invisible as does the Douk Douk.

I'll second that. I have one from the very first run, and it fits nicely in even a thin leather wallet. In a big nylon backpack-in-your-pocket, you won't even notice it.

I've been carrying a Spydercard for about a year and a half. It's the way to go IMHO.

Please know that the FBI has an active file (printed dicument/resource book) on the ID of these tools which is in-circulation and is supposed to be a part of the knowlege-base of the security/polices forces for those areas.....

Just a friendly word of caution from one knife-nut to the next.

I've carried a single edged, utility razor blade in my wallet for about thirty years. No, not the same one. Cheap, disposal, sharp.

Douk Douk. Extremely thin. Razor sharp and easy to keep that way. Very inexpensive. If you let someone use it or borrow it you're not risking much.
