Knife Industry Statistics

I'm just curious if there is a public source or anybody has any statistics on the actual size of the knife or cutlery industry. How much revenue per year? How many total units. Seems to me with all the talk of banning etc going around and given a weakened global economy, it might be useful to know what kind of impact the knife industry has. As a Canadian of course I'd be interested on figures here but I think any figures would be interesting to see.

You can Wikipedia different companies. The stat sheet shows the #of employees, dates of operation, etc.
