Knife info

I can't find any info or pics on a knife maker from Wichita ks named Jim smith. Anyone know anything about him. He would have been back in the 70's

The Gun Digest Book of Knives. There is a small listing of him there.

What I found out about him was he was a ww2 bomber pilot. He made knives for around 40 years and pass away sometime in the 80's. That all I could find out about him
