I have decided to get some insurance for my knife collection
and i can not find the values for some of them, any info will be helpfull.
All of them have no boxes but they are kept in display cases in the gun safe :D
These are the ones:
Aplegate/Fairburn Gerber combat folder first production
"" "" '' '' covert folder first production
BM CQC7 black T Emerson
Gerber Mark II black
Gerber boot knife (not guardian) black
Thanks

..and record serial #'s(if any)an even save receipts. It makes the "proof" part of any future claim very much easier.BTW aren't knives(like guns/tools) a form of "insurance"-which is why we knifeknuts always love buying/collecting/customizing/using this most primal of tools? And we always think that it's never enough and "something" will come along and be "better" :D :D :D

Another vote for the link OldDawg listed. I have done a bit of research for firearms insurance and they are who I'm going with, real easy and not much hassle, especially for knives.

Thanks guys that`s the company i was thinking of using :D..I just don't get the part that you just give them a $$ figure you pay the dues and then if the knifes gets stolen they just hand you the money no questions asked? how can this be?
Also the difference of what i payed for these knives and the replacement value is in some of the knives is 2 to 3 times more now..

Unless one is going to rely on fraud, ones knife insurance money is likely better spent on a good safe.
