Knife Issues

i just bought a tiger folding knife, its spring assisted and when the blade is open there is a rattling noise that it keeps making.. im not sure if its the spring itself or what it is... anyone out there have a problem like this that they solved.. or have the knife with the same problem?

Maybe take it apart and fill the void-spaces with grease. It'll stop the rattling, but not the problem, (if there is one).

I like how it says "hand made" on the box. As if.
If I were you I would dull it out completely and use it as a novelty item for spreading butter.

im looking for a knife that i use and abuse without feeling guilty or emptying my pockets... so like 30 dollars max... im saving up for parts for my car..

try a kershaw jyd or jyd2. decent steel. made in usa. $35-$50 (there abouts)

Probably not much better. But, if you're into collecting cheap knives or can't afford anything else - then I guess you're home.

My Sog Aegis had a little rattling noise . . . until I super glued the safety button in the off position... then the noise went away . . . even though I super glued the safety for an unrelated reason (I didn't want the safety to turn on accidentally and keep me from deploying my blade when I wanted to), it fixed the rattling problem. I guess the safety was loose and it was shaking around a bit or something.

I have never had a kershaw I haven't liked whether it was a chive or JYD all the way up to a RAM or titanium JYDII.
