I was blundering around the web today and found this company. The "Custom Jewel Shop". www.angelfire.com/sports/customjewelshop/
I like the look of the jeweled Delica( www.angelfire.com/sports/customjewelshop/knifepage.html ) on the knife jeweling page and was wondering if any of us have ever used this company?? or anybody that does jeweling?? and what do you think about it?? And how hard is it to "jewel"?? Just pondering some ideas and wanted some opinions. Thanks everyone!! :)

i don't know much about it, but there was a thread recently called "Ultimate CF Dragonfly" or something like that that had a bunch of very nice pictures. Take a look at it.

hope this helps,

Pete

We did jeweling on our metal shop projects in high school with a pencil with a pink eraser on the end stuck in a drill press.

Blades, I saw these people selling on ebay and had wondered about it. I would love to get some of my Spydies jeweled. They look really cool. I too have heard of the pencil thingy. Not sure how well it works, but I am sure there is a tool you could buy to do this with. Maybe you could check with David Brunner (Bandito). He jeweled the liners on my CQC7 and didn't charge much at all. Maybe he could do this job for you. Post some pics if you get it done. Take care.

I'd love to see an oline tutorial for DIY jeweling. Does anyone know enough to write one? Steve, can you give details of how you did it, how it came out, pics, etc? I've considered having a knife done that way also, and already have that page bookmarked. I'd really like more information if anyone has it to post.

Thanks for the info guys. I will have to do some searching on the web for instuctions on "how to". If anything you could experiment on the inside of clips and work your way to the front. :)
Michael,
I'll email David Brunner. Thanks.

Off to work.

I have jeweled an endura looked pretty good for the first time I tried. Used a dremel tool with nylon brush and polishing compound.GO in stright lines overlapping each swerel half way.
