According to Marketplace algorithms, anyway. Posted mine for sale as I am committing to sending out for ht to open up a little more floor room in my tiny shop.
I asked for a review of their decision based on the fact that knives were not on their list of weapons and knives were a very large part of our society as everyday tools. They put my listing back up.

Yes, a single word can cause a lot of trouble. I recently read of a person paying his dog walker with his bank card. He had noted the expense as for his dog. The charge was declined and the FBI was automatically notified because the banking system uses algorithms to spot terrorism and crime. The dogs name was close to an Arabic work for jihad.
As with your listing, they made the charge good later on, but it was not a fun day for the guy.

Not quite real life, but there was an old science fiction story (Eric Russel) about a space ship about to undergo an inspection and inventory. But no one on board could figure out what the “offog” on the inventory listing was. After much gnashing of teeth, they finally explained that the “offog” was no longer in inventory because it had burned up in a stellar nebula. Command then sent back an urgent message insisting to know how and why the “Official Dog” had gotten out of the ship and into a stellar nebula.

that was some 60 years ago. Things never really change, except now we have truly mindless computers to really mess things up....

What kiln do you have? I might take it :) PM me details

I listed a 4" drop point hunter for sale on one of the face book forums that had a musk ox spacer in the handle. Market place pulled my listing down saying I'm not allowed to sell animals on Facebook. I contested their decision a couple times but they never responded back to me.

I just noticed yesterday that the DC metro free wifi blocks bladeforums.
(just when I needed to look up the best way to stab my fellow commuters...)
I don't know exactly how their filter works because you would think that blocking anything with blade would be too restrictive, but who knows.

I tried to sell some binos and a night vision scope on FB. Both were banned as 'inappropriate and against community standards"

I won't even try listing two propane forges
