Hi guys,
I know this info is likely out here on BF somewhere but I hoped to get a quick advice. I am going to California, more specifically Palm Springs and I wonder what blade lenght is legal in regards to my folders that are clipped inside belt and my bushcraft type fixed blade which are in a sheath outside belt.

Thanks all!

Law regarding size of folder varies from county to county in California. I'm not sure what Palm Springs is like, but in Nor Cal I can carry my massive CS Espada Large and I'm within my legal rights ..I know this because I called the sheriff and asked. If I were you, I'd get the non emergency police number for Palm Springs and ask an officer.

I'm almost positive that you can have any sized fixed blade, anywhere in California as long as the handle is not covered up. Once you cover the handle it becomes a "concealed weapon".
