Knife law in Ethiopia

I will be spending a vacation in Ethiopia. While I always carry a multitool and a knife with me, I wonder if this is legal in Ethiopia. I don' want to get into any trouble so if there is anyone who can share your experience. I'll leave them in hotel if I am told it is not legal but if it is not illegal, I prefer keeping them with Mr all the time as I prefer to use my own tools.. Especially as eating utensil. Kindly advise. Also, is there any kind of knife that is prohibited in Ethiopia? Thanks.

Your best option and source of information would be to contact the Ethiopian consulate closest to you, probably the one at which you applied for your visa for Ethiopia.
