So in TX its says I cant carry no blade longer than 5 1/2'', if I carry my 10'' bowie on my deer lease am I breaking the law? And what about public or state wildlife management areas, Federal management areas that I hunt? Often I need a machete to cut small sappling and brush for stands and blinds, is that legal to carry? I think the intent is to apply to public city use, but the law doesnt seem to state that, that way.
