what are the knife laws down here? i have a ranger RD9 (9.5") and a lot of diff pocket knives.

If you have a concealed weapons permit, you can carry anything you want concealed, even a sword,if you could fit it in your pants.

you can open carry any size blade that you want and that includes a sword---i have seen that done before actually---

--if you want to conceal carry them then you need a Concealed Weapons Permit--

if you dont have a CWP then you can carry a general pocket knife

Unless, of course, a local jurisdiction has a law/ordinance that says otherwise... Just because it's not prohibited by FL statute or Administrative code does not make it legal where you happen to be at the time within FL.

the only ordinances that i have heard of---not seen--are ones in ft lauderdale or miami and i had thought that they were preempted now by state law-

i have lived in volusia, martin, saint lucie, flagler, brevard, indian river, palm beach, orange, duval, and leon ---none have had any other codes/laws
