Knife Laws in Bosnia and Croatia?

I am traveling to Bosnia and Croatia with the majority of my time being spent in Sarajevo. I found the thread linked below and it was helpful, but did not have a definitive answer and is a year old, so I was hoping for more solid info. I am an LEO and will have my ID but not my badge. I am not military. I have linked the knife I plan to carry below (it is an assisted opening blade). It won't leave my pocket unless there is an emergency. Thanks in advance!

My knife (I have an identical one I am leaving at home, so I don't mind losing this one if needed)

I think carrying a knife as a tool (as opposed to weapon) is not prohibited, therefore is legal in Croatia. What is a tool vs. weapon is not even defined, so might be open to interpretation of LE, but I don't think pocket knife would get you in trouble...

I might demonstrate by my own example- in a last month or so I had some business in both Croatian Department of Defense, and police HQ, and both times foolishly forgot to leave my nasty looking EDC at home. Both times I've put it in the folder I was carrying and politely asked the kindly MP, or police officer, at the gate to hold it for me while I'm inside. 'Why?' they ask, and I say I was out fishing the day before and forgot to leave my knife at home, and both times there wasn't a hint of problem- collected it on my way out and slipped it back into my pocket as I was leaving.

Edited to add that I'm civilian for all intents and purposes of the discussion...

Thanks for the info. I actually just got back to the states today. (guess I probably should have made my initial post a little earlier than the day before I was leaving the country). I carried at all times in Sarajevo with no problems. I had it in my pocket and never had to take it out, so I can't say what liability I would have faced if I had to pull it out.

It also should be noted that when entering Bosnia the customs declaration form asked if I was bringing any weapons into the country (including knives). I wasn't exactly honest on the form and just planned to play dumb if it was found, but luckily my checked luggage was not searched. So I am probably not the best example here for anyone who may find this thread in a future search. Sarajevo was fantastic, and I never felt unsafe.

I chose not to take it to Croatia since I was only going for a day and didn't want any problems crossing the border.
