Knife Laws in Ireland

Greetings,

I will be vacationing in Ireland this summer and was wondering what the knife laws are like there (I've searched the forums, but found no specific information). When in Europe, I usually take three knives with me:

(1) A Benchmade small Griptillian, clip-point, 40% serrated (for hiking, fishing, and the like).

(2) An A.G. Russell Loveless City Knife, which is a small, slip-joint gentleman's folder.

(3) A Leatherman tool.

Please let me know if any of these might get me into trouble.

Many thanks,
Fedaykin

Hi Fedaykin.
I live in England and went to Ireland around 3 years ago. I had in my hand luggage a 3" folding half serrated lock blade. It seemed to pass through airport security fine (although this will probably have changed by now due to 9-11)
Many so called army stores that are located in and around the cities sell various weapons, and I know many people carry knives there. Not sure about the exact law, but your knives seem very respectable! I think if u can get them through the airport, you should be fine.
