Hello Everyone,

Can anyone give me or point me toward a website that could give me the specific laws governing knives in Nevada and/or Las Vegas?

Is Las Vegas a very knife friendly town?

I'm visiting the SHOT show in February and will be unable to carry a handgun, but wanted to bring a knife or two.

Thanks for the help.

I don't have any site besides Levines at the top of the page but I was in Las Vegas for Comdex. I carried a Leatherman Juice, CF Spyderco Delica or a Chris Reeve Mnandi and never had any problems. I used them around policemen and in a copule of casinos with no problems. The civic center has signs saying no weapons but there wern't any metal detectors and the security guy I asked said that any folder under 3 inches would have gotten in anyway.

I thinks its a pretty knife friendly town. BTW see the Hoover Dam if you get a chance. It's pretty amazing. One thing though, it's a Federal installation so take a knife with a blade under 2.5". (My Juice got in with no problems but they do xray backpacks. I walked through a metal detector and put my Juice a tray and the guards didn't even blink.)

Have fun! Las Vegas is a interesting city........

Thanks for the input.

Does anyone have some more specific input on the fine points of the Nevada penal code?
