I open carry a handgun day to day, I just find it easier to OC a full size 1911 in a retention holster than to shove it down my pants in an IWB holster. Now that im considering a Busse Battle Mistress I'm wondering if this is going to be an issue open carrying it. We're talking a 10 inch blade here. I'm not worried about peoples reactions, I live in the woods and most of the surrounding towns are "small towns". Judging by the link, it seems im set with pretty much any length blade I want to be carried in anyway I like with the exception of autos and double edged blades. Would I be correct in that assumption? I can't count the number of times i've needed a larger knife, especially living in the woods. I'm not too concerned with it while hiking/hunting but I really don't feel like losing a 600 dollar knife to the police if I walk into walmart with it on after hiking/hunting/camping. Anyone confirm that it's ok?
