knife laws in Saudi Arabia

Not sure about knife laws there. In the middle east, you are probably allowed and even assumed to be carrying a dagger. I'm only half kidding. I think I would be more worried about other forms of contraband that we consider common everyday items such as alcohol, western publications with pictures (magazines, catalogs, advertising fliers), certain religious texts, etc. You might want to check with the state department for a thorough heads-up on knife laws and other relevant issues.

Saudi Arabia is a pretty closed place. Unless someone happens by, only place that would cover this would be an embassy or something of that nature. And be sure to ask about weapons laws in general, and if there is a restrictive answer, ask about being a sikh, who are actually religiously bound to carry a knife. Best of luck.

Bring a knife big enough to do a fuck load of damage, small enough to carry, and cheap enough to ditch. Period.

Thanks I was kind of leaning toward just taking a disposable knive of some sort. One in the collection that wouldn't coast much to replace or just forget about but, I sure wish I could have my good old EDC in my pocket.

Thanks guys.
