Hello,

In 3 days I will be leaving to Thailand.
First I will stay a few days in Bangkok, then whe'll make a trip trough the inlands and the last week whe'll be at the beach.

Now I was planning on taking my Izula and RC-4 with me especially for the hiking trips.
Also I'd like to concealed carry the Izula in Bangkok.

Now I was wondering, what are the knife laws in Thailand about the concealed and open carry of knives?

Thanks in advance!

Are you going with a hired guide? He or she can give you the "street" interpretation of local knife laws in Thailand. Don't count on your embassy or consulate. In order to cover their own butts, they will simply warn you not to carry any knife. A guided tour will allow you to make the most of your trip with the least amount of trouble.

you should check out the Asian/Australian section of this site. i just read a thread on Thailand that worried me a little. i go to Cambodia, regularly, and i've just always kept mine out of site, made sure i had my Police ID and some lunch money for the local heat and have never worried about it. however, that thread on Thailand made me question my technique :-( check it out, it's worth a read.
