Knife laws/shops in Savannah GA?

Hello,

It's officially offical today that we're moving to Savannah GA within the month, and I was wondering what the carry laws in Georgia, and more specifically Savannah are. Also, are there any good knife stores there or in the area? It's gonna be good to move...closer to the Blade Show next year, the return of the Guild Show in Orlando...and oh yeah, the hopefully almost complete lack of snow and frigid temperatures compared to Minnesota!!!

I can't speak for Savannah, but the Georgia law is that concealed blades can be no longer than 3-1/2", single or double edged.

John, I believe that in Savannah you are not allowed to carry a knife if it is sharp/pointed/shiny/opens one handed or with two/longer than your memory.....just kidding of course, glad you are digging out of the tundra and getting down CLOSER TO the Blade Show.....second thought you might not want to be that close?

Jerry, how do they define concealed, as in neck knives, IWB carry, etc.? Does state law allow open belt carry of fixed blades, within "reasonable" length?

Gary-Dang it, there ya go dashin' all my hopes again!

And oh yeah, I don't *want* to be close to the Blade Show, I *have* to be closer...for my own sanity!
