I’ll go first…

A few hours ago I finished my last shift on duty as a California State Park Peace Officer (Ranger), after 20 years of service.

My name is Shawn Christopher Wilson.



It’s nice to finally introduce myself properly now that I don’t have to worry about getting canceled and losing my pension for saying something controversial in Prac-Tac.

I was lucky enough to find a career where I could carry and use knives, axes and other cutting devices on a regular basis.

I was a meat cutter for 27 years. I used knives everyday. I changed careers 6 years ago and now work for a non-profit ministry as a maintenance technician. I still carry 3 or 4 knives everyday. I use a folding utility knife for most of my tasks, but have others in my pocket.

As most know, I farm fish hunt so I get to use tools often.

I'm adding knives into my current career by adding a small retail sales component. First batch of custom fixed blades ordered.
