I just got some Sentry Solutions Tuf-Glide yesterday and put 2 drops in my BM 905 and BM 705. I noticed that the opening and closing of the 905 was a bit smoother, but not so on the 705. On my 705, it felt like it was harder to open and close the blade after I applied the lubricant though the smoothness was pretty much the same. Did I put too much? Should I take the blade off and wipe it all off? It's kind of worrying me since it's just a small bit harder to open now as opposed to before. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Tuff-Glide is good stuff. You probably loosened some crud or washed a bit of debris into the pivot area when you oiled your 705. You could spray some WD-40 on the pivot to clean this area, then re-apply your Tuff Glide. Open and close your 705 about 11,792 times, and she'll be slick as a whistle.

I beg to differ shane your wrong it has to be 11,794 times. ;)

Loosen the pivot screw then blow the crud out with a waterpic. Dry with a hair dryer and while its still warm lube with the Tuff Glide. Give it time to dry and adjust the pivot screw after adding a drop of BLUE locktite (on the cleaned threads only). I 've used this method on many customers (and my own) knives with great results.;)
