On the traditional side of knives, which knife publication do you fellows subscribe to, and enjoy the most.

Knife magazine, formerly known as Knife World. They will send you a free trial copy. I think their yearly cost is a little bit under $30. It is not sold in magazine outlets.

I subscribe to Blade, they have a mix of traditional and modern knives. I don't remember what the exact cost per year is, but I am almost certain it is less than $30.

Very few traditionals in either Blade or Knives Illustrated. Mostly modern tactical knives. Knife Magazine that brownshoe mentioned is good.

From 1977-1997 there was an NKCA publication called National Knife Magazine, and it was very traditional based. Nearly all articles were about straight knives, slipjoints, or primitives/antiques. Some of the most knowledgeable experts and writers were part of it. It was a great publication, and most of the information in them are still very relevant today. I picked up a complete set on the big auction site very cheap, and it provided me with years worth of reading. Lots of history about all the old knife makers, old patterns long gone, etc.

Knife Magazine (Knife World) is IMHO the top of the list for coverage of all types of knives: antique, modern, custom, factory, etc.
Great mag.

Knife Magazine is my favorite. One of my Kephart models was featured in an article in it a few issues back, so I may be a bit biased.
