I was wondering how your knife magazines get delivered to your door.Presently,I'm a subscriber of Tactical Knives, which now arrives without a plastic cover or letter size mailing envelope but with, just a 1" x 3" mailing label on the magazine.How do the other's knife magazines compare?
 
BLADE comes with just a mailing label. I don't remember getting TK or KI any other way than with a label when I used to subscribe to them a few years back.
 
They first came with a clear plastic cover with a mailing label attached.After I complained that I had received a couple issues arrive badly scratch and torn.They then arrived in an paper envelope but now just a plain mailing label.
 
I get all 3.TK used to have a plastic cover and they stoped.I hate when you get 2 or all 3 mags having the same subject or subjects in the same month.All of them are mostly glorified advertizments if they are about factory knives.Then again its the same with custom knives.Once in a while they will come out with some good articles.
The only magazine which ever had some critical things to say about knives was the early Fighting Knives.After a while they became just like the rest,maybe worse.The editor Greg Walker who may have been very knowledgeable seemed to get a giant size ego that showed up in his articles
 
All the Knife magazines seem to be knife porn these days, just ads for high end stuff, that being said I don't mind a little knife porn once in a while.
 
Get delivered to my door erratically. The only subscription I have is to TK. The first issue arrived with half the cover torn off, and the second issue never did arrive. Can't wait to see what my third issue does!:thumbdn:

IMO there's only 1 or two small articles udually worth reading per magazine, it's just not worth it.
 
I must defend Blade Magazine, it is great and I enjoy the articles and ads both. It comes with a address sticker only. The thing is it sends me in directions I might not otherwise explore and that is a GOOD thing! Woo Woo!!
