I've been sharpening by hand and with cheap guided systems for a few years, and I plan on buying a set of paper wheels. After I get enough practice on the wheels, I plan on trying to make a little extra money sharpening knives locally. If I make any money, I'd like to invest some of it into more equipment, until I've got everything I need. I've started to make a list, so if I know I have $20 to spend I can buy something within my budget, and then cross it off.

Here's my list so far:
* Sandpaper (in varying grits for polishing)
* Cloth buffing wheel
* SAK replacement toothpicks and tweezers
* Green polishing compound
* Beeswax
* Coconut oil
* Vitamin E

I currently have:
* Mineral oil (wiping carbon steel blades, food-safe lubricant)
* Rubbing alcohol
* Soft Arkansas stone
* Lansky Puck
* Ceramic honing rod
* Smith's Precision Sharpening Kit (I use this mostly to reprofile things with the diamond stone)
* Mother's polish
* A few homemade strops

I've considered getting a belt sander at some point in the future, or even an acid etching kit, but those would be bigger purchases.

What am I missing on my list? Any advice to someone sharpening knives for money for the first time?
