Knife maintenance for IKBS bearings?

How do I take care of a ball bearing knife? Do I take it apart and oil it?

I would recommend you to not take an IKBS folder apart... unless you like to chase down little ball bearings. I would just get a can of compressed air to blow out the gunk and add a few drops of oil to the pivot.

DuPont Extreme Fluoro grease. It's a helluva good lubricant.

Put it on any knife for that matter and the knife is smoother than it was from the factory.
