Ballistol

The test of time is the bench mark for quality. Ballistol has been around for over 120 years and was developed by the Germans and has been in constant use since. It is used on steel, leather and wood. I use it by putting it on all my knife blades and wood handles. It protects against corrosion and moisture. I simply spray the blades and wipe off the excess with a cotton cloth or what ever is available. I use the cotton cloth to wipe the wood handles. My knifes are CRK, Buck, Hinderer, Case, Spyderco, Protec, and ZT just to name a few. They all get the same squirt and rub. I have knife scales with snake wood, olive, cocoboa, oak and they keep the scales supple and good looking. It is safe to use and latex gloves are not necessary. It comes in spray and pour on and can be purchased from Brownells, Midway and just about everyone that sells knifes and weapons. The cost in around $12.
