I have a CRTK M-16 its been a user for at least a 1.5yrs. I resently tryied to pry a nail out of a hing and it chipped pretty good. deffinatly chipped the metal i put near the nail head stayed there when the knife left. So with rust spots in the handle and other spots of rust, plus a chiped blade. So my plan is to us this as an expierment. I have a new lansky system I am going to use to reprofile the blade hopefully to get them chips out during that.I have some 320 grit and 400grit sandpaper to work on the whole knife, i will be getting more from 320 to 1200 wet sand paper, i plain to sand the whole thind down and paint the parts in different black blade, Tan handles and odgreen inserts..Me reprofiling the blade and cleaning the knife up to get rid of rust is no problem. but what type of paint should i use.
depending how this turns out ill do the same for my sog. trident and then maybe MAYBE my spyderco endura, I will Be posting picks of the CRTK. right now i have alot of time on my hand and want to explore a little more into shapeneing and coatings. So my Main ? is how to or what paint should i use?
thanks Mr Bean
