Knife maker for 20 Talonite chef's knives

I would be interested in makeing a similar style knife. I would not make a copy of one of Robs' knives out of respect for him. Please feel free to e-mail me if you think I could help you. I have not worked with Talonite, but made a batch of 100 knives out of Stellite for A.G. Russell when I worked for him. We highly recommend Thomas Haslinger. We have two of his kitchen knives and more on order.

Thomas was trained as a German chef and now makes knives. We met him at the Montana show several years ago. We've spend hours talking about knives. His attention to detail is typical of old world German craftsmanship.

Thomas has made knives from stellite 6K.

If you would like to handle some of Thomas's knives stop by our house or go to Epicurean Edge (425-889-5891) in Kirkland. Daniel O'Malley of Blade Gallery is the owner and he always has a few of Thomas's knifes on display.

I have passed your message on to some knife makers who may be able to help you. Unfortunately Rob Simonich has passed away. We can supply the identical alloy but the knife maker you use will want to work with you to make sure they are building what you wish.
