Knife Maker Renewal

I need to renew my Knife Maker membership by the 16th. Do I do this on the Paid Subscriptions section in my Settings? If so, and I pay there (with PayPal), will my renewal be automatic or will it require human approval and be delayed till then? Fortunately I remembered it was about that time, but I haven't received any email notifications with only 5 days remaining. I thought I was supposed to? Thanks
 
I would like to list a knife of mine for sale on Friday. If I renew my membership now, through the "paid subscriptions", will there be any lag? I would hate to post a for sale thread on Friday as a knife maker, but by Sunday (16th) be reverted to basic member. If there will be a lag in renewal confirmation, I will hold off on my listing. This is my concern at this point. Any moderators that can answer my questions? Since this will be my first membership renewal, I'm just not sure of the protocol. Anyone?
