Knife makers groups/organizations

I was just thinking about The American Bladesmith Society and wondering if there are state by state Knife makers organizations or groups for makers and/or
collectors. Also wondering about any groups like the ABS but for Stock removal makers.

I would be interested in getting into a couple groups but I am unaware of any.

I was thinking maybe we can get a list going(maybe make it a sticky too)
for all the new members so they are aware of said groups.

Most states and larger cities have local knife clubs although most are geared more toward collectors than makers. Knife World publishes a good listing in every issue.

The Knifemaker's Guild allows all types of knifemaking, forging, stock removal or knapping.

Oklahoma has the www.theknifegroup.com with assorted stock removal and forgers. Kansas has www.kansasknives.org with the same mixture. Ark has their own group which is arkansas knifemakers association but I don't know their website---- found it- www.arkansasknifemakers.com
