Amazing miniature set, each one with a different knife in it. The detail was amazing.

Awesome pic's once again Marthinus, what no Gareth Bull Pic's, was he even there?

Thanks very much for the virtual show! Great work on the photos - its hard to take photos and fondle knives at the same time :)

It seems that South African makers have taken more a refined design aesthetic compared to the American "overbuilt” motif. We have great makers here in the states, but the sleek designs I see here are visually stunning and just different enough to create their own style. I've got to get my hands on a Thorburn or Prisloo or Des Horn before much longer. Amazing.

Could not agree more about the "overbuilt" aspect and the flat grinds and thin edge bevels on the SA makers knives make for guess what, here it comes.... great cutting/slicing!

Nice pics, thanks for sharing them; looks like you had fun :). Those knives are excellent pieces of art, i cant say the same thing about the lanyards though.

Wow! Great knives and pictures. I would've liked more labels on who the makers are.

Your subject line may need a second warning: Extremely desirable!

There seems to be trouble with the South African postal service right now, Right as my Andre De Villiers Butcher was set to ship out to me. I love the work of South African makers.
