Knife makers in Mexico City

My wife and I have an apt down there near Monumento Revolucion. In the 5 years I've been going down there - never heard of a knifemaker. Two of my buddies down there are into knives, too - they ask me to bring down stuff for them as they can't find anything good locally. Only place I've seen that sells knives in DF is in the hardware stores a few blocks east of Zocalo, it's all cheap stuff. Most (if not all) of what I've seen down there is Chinese made. Saludos!
