Knife makers in/near Helena, Montana?

Hi..DLarsen has been teaching me here to make knives..got one finished. But may move to Helena, Montana this fall and need to learn more.. Anyone out there who could help? Willing to do cutting,grinding, whatever in exchange for teaching me to make knives..only fixed at this point.. Someday folders... Thanks guys. StevenH

I know dave kaufman is in montana city which is essentially a suburb of helena but you can check out www.montanaknifemakers.com it is the state association here in montana.....Erik

Bob Bizzell is in Bute. He has been making knives for quite some time and makes some really beautiful Pattern Welded steel. Check out a copy of Knives 2006 or any of the previous issues. In the back they have a section where knife makers listed by State.
