okay folks, i've posted a few times and i've gotten a lot of VERY helpful information and feedback. I now have a much better idea what i want, and i'm looking for someone to make it for me.
I absolutely fell in love with Ban Tang's work, but he is backed up several months, and i need something a little sooner than that.
Here's what i'm looking for. I want a drop point knife with a thick blade, roughly 8" OAL. I'd like it to be convex ground, and i'd like D2 steel. I'd like it hardened to Rc61 or 62
As for the scales, i'm flexible... i like the looks of stabilized buckeye burl, but i'm also willing to consider any of the darker woods, or carbon fiber if it looks good.
I am looking for someone who can begin work on my knife relatively soon
please let me know if you can manage what i'm looking for, and what it'll cost me.
if you have pictures of something similar that's already ready to go, post them with a price and i'll pm you if i'm interested.
