Hi All,

It's my first post, pardon me if you find it so crappy.

Just got a grinder from my friend. he built it himself, good grinder is hard to find here in Indonesia.
It uses variable speed angle grinder as drive motor. it is compact, easy to store. I use lowest speed for post HT grinding.

Knife making is getting more fun since having this grinder, but i ruined 2 blanks when learning how to use it as i am a belt grinder first-timer :)

I took the swing too far, to do a clay coat quenching. I was so tempted to have a knife with hamon.

I did HT myself, using a butane torch and coffee can (line with some white portland cement)

Here is the successfully finished knife:
SK 5 steel, 8.5" OAL puukko-ish style

Sorry for the pics quality, they're just cellphone camera pics.

Please let me know your thoughts to make sure i'm on the right track..... Cheers
