okay, this isn't going to rate very high as far as posts are concerned, but on some benchmade knives, what is the material between the slabs even the long discontinued bm 750 pinicale with titanium handles had it. just currious if its plastic or something else. possumman

If it's a long black piece, it's probably Zytel. Works well as a back-spacer, and I have it on a few of my Benchmades.
