I know that certain collectibles have museums dedicated to their preservation and display. For example, my wife collects teddy bears and there is a museum in Florida (?) that shows antique, one-of-a-kind, and other "significant" teddy bears and related memorabilia. Does such a museum exist for knives?

For all inquiring minds, NO I have not been dragged to the teddy bear museum (yet!).

There is a military knife museum in Intercourse,Pa.It's in a building that used to be a bank, directly across from the motel.I was there a few years ago.Very interesting collection of military knives from the Revolutionary war thru vietnam.tom.

I believe the National Knife Museum in Chattanooga is closed. The building was sold. There was an article about it last year in one of the magazines.
The museum in Intercourse,Pa. is good but it's not always open. You need to get hold of the proprietor, Larry Thomas(I dont have his contact info), and make an appointment to view the museum.

Just a fountain of useless information.

The American Bladesmith Society has a musume dedicated to the history of the forged blade in this country. It is located in Little Rock Arkansas at the Historic Arkansas Musume. It is exceptionaly well displayed with antique pieces to modern Master Bladesmiths of the ABS. This Musume also houses the Hall of Fame of the ABS. It opened up this year and cost several million to put it there. As well as others it has on exhibit the Bart Moore Bowie, the Bowie #1 and the Carrigan.
