Knife news 2017 top 25 best selling knives

Out of that list, the only one I have is the CRKT Snap Lock, though it's an original model, not the new reissue.

Wow the Buck 110 auto is more popular than I thought. I'll have to get one smuggled into Canada.

Only own the Steel Will Cutjack (in G10 and M390) and Mora Companion. The list seems reasonable.

What dealer provided the information? I assume it was Knifecenter since they were mentioned.

Best selling in terms of what? Any hard data to back it up? How the data were collected? Was there any sampling involved? If so, how representative was the sample?

How can the Spyderco Lil Nilakka make the list? I thought very few were produced.

I am shocked the best selling knife isn't some Walmart Gerber like the Paraframe.

straight from the link

"The TOP 25 Best Selling Blades of 2017 is based on a ranking of year-to-date dollar sales per day of all non-kitchen cutlery at KnifeCenter.com. "

out of 25 I only have the Mora the rest are not even on my radar (they are probably popular with mall ninjas)

Like I said above. One boutique knife dealer's sales do not a best selling 2017 knives list make.

Exactly. None of those is even going to come close to whatever WalMart is selling or Vic Classics, etc in terms of sales.

Good point. Walmart sells a lot of stuff, knives included although I seldom look at them there. I can recall two knives I purchased at WM; Spyderco Native and a Gerber Gator folder years ago. But I'm not most people.

I own two from that list... but only one was purchased this year (and it's not staying here).
