Here is a pic of knife number 9, just finished tonight.
The blade is cut from an old saw-mill blade, then cold ground and mirror-polished.
The handles are Teak from the decks of the decomissioned USS Roanoake.
Overall length is 8 inches with a 4 inch full tang blade.
I added Red liners and colored the epoxy red, too.
This was my first effort using the Trizact belts - - - I am sold on them. They run really smooth and I can get the finer grits that remove material slowly enough for a novice like me.
