I just received my newsletter from Emerson Knives and the Knife of the Year 2007 will be the A131 based on the new A100 production knife (also avail as a custom!) No price announced or delivery time. There will be around 100 pieces.

I ordered one and hope it comes close to pre-tac that I have.

do ya know if they are bolstered like in the pic??

I assumed the knife would be bolstered like in the picture. I asked if a price had been set and was told it won't be until they are produced. I just got on the list and can always say "no".

As a side note Ernie is now making custom guitars, too.
