I was watching Walker, and the bad guy helicopter pilot had a fixed blade. It was two tone finish, black flats and high polish on the grinds with a saw back. The blade was a spear point with a saw back. The blade was about an quarter of an inch thick. Does anybody know what blade it was?
Thanks,
Reed

It was good in the story line, but bad on the effects. Walker shoots the back of the helicopter with a launcher but it just puts the rear out of commision, not blow the tail off.
Oh well, all I'm interested is the knife, it looked like a sweet design.
Thanks,
Reed

I don't know specifically what it was. If I remember correctly, it was a thick "survival" type knife, Bowie style with an aggressive sawback, and very pronounced crossguard.

The "knife" I was enraptured by was a couple of seasons ago. Some skilled assassin team was using daggers made of ice. They'd stab their victim then toss the "ice knife" into a creek or on some hot pavement to allow the evidence to melt away. They had many close-ups of the dagger, and it was a dead ringer for the SOG Pentagon. Every part of the knife was true to form (exact crossguard, handle shape, and grindlines), except there was no serrations on the one side.

Ron, reminds me of an old "Dick Tracy" episode in the Sunday comics Where the BG shot bullets made of ice that dissolved. OK, back to knife topic -- anyone seen an ice knife??? :)

If you can get me the episode number I will contact a friend of mine. He was a member of the senior production staff for several years. If it falls in his time frame on set, he may be able to get all the info you need.

The episode number is ep.081 [5.07] Codename: Dragonfly. That is what I got when I emailed somebody with a fan site.
Thanks everyone,
Reed
