Dear blade enthusiasts,
like so many other shows, KNIFE 2020, the Solingen Blade Fair, had to be cancelled due to the corona virus. However, Deutsches Klingenmuseum (the German Blade Museum) presents an "virtual show": On 09 May at 10:00 CET, KNIFE ONLINE will go live on our website www.knife-solingen.de. 180 exhibitors had originally registered for the show, of whom more than 60 take part in the online event. You can see fotos of the knives and swords they had prepared for Solingen, and if interested to buy a piece, can contact them directly.
The page will also present the participants and the winner of this years Klingenmuseum Knife Award, "the perfect cooking knife". 27 knife makers from Europe and the US took part, you find a preview on the photo here.
Come and have a look - and maybe even meet you next year in person, for KNIFE 2021 (15/16 May 2021).
