Knife Orders?

Yes. I have a few things in the mail that are taking what feels like an eternity to get here. One was held today “due to weather”. Its killing me!!

It seems some do pad the estimated delivery/shipping times recently.
So far mine have arrived with-in two or three days from when shipped, not the week or three estimated. I suppose you could say "It/They came early!..." since they beat the estimated delivery day.
Still, it seems longer ... especially when one ordered a week after those that have yet to arrive get here first.

So far everything I've ordered over the past couple of months has come on time or early. A mix of UPS and USPS but more USPS; nothing international to the US. Lately UPS seems to add a day to the shipping estimate and then the day after shipping, the estimated delivery day gets moved one day or more to the left depending on the service level.

Is anyone suffering long waits for orders to come in?
I have one that is so. Of course I order by US Mail (Wife's requirements).;)
Anyway, suffering here.

What a great topic! I am in extreme suffering mode... Got two holy grails coming from Europe. Waiting... waiting.... some more waiting...

I’m waiting on a custom from Bulgaria that seems to be lost in limbo. It was shipped early March :(

im hoping it finds its way to me.

Some deliveries from Eastern Europe could take up to four-six weeks, since USPS has been using ships (due to covid 19) to transport packages from certain Eurasian locations vs planes.

More than 8 weeks, then I'd be worried.

Only once I had lost a cheap auto part from Eastern Europe, the last message said "In transit US Customs NY" and still says the same. I hope this won't be the case.

TFK knife by chance?
I only ask cause I had one shipped from there and it shipped march 16th and arrived in here at my house in Oregon on april 21st.

No problem here. I live just outside of Philly. Just received one from DLT. Shipped from Wisconsin to my me in Pennsylvania in 3 days USPS. Most problems I see here in the US are going through the mid west large city's like Detroit and Chicago.

No problems with my knife orders coming from retailers or fellow members.
Maybe just an extra day added to the wait. Amazon and grocery orders however have been crazy. Almost a week for groceries, and over a week or two for alot of stuff off Amazon.

I've order a bunch of knives and other things since mid-March ( all domestic USA). Had just one delayed delivery and one lost package.
I'm hoping the missing package ( a knife , of course), shows up, but it's been off the radar for a week.

If I see an item I want that is shipping from Eastern Europe or China, I do not order it. If I can't get it from the USA I don't need it.

Lol yet I'd be willing to bet most of the stuff you own was made in china. Just because you got it in the US doesnt mean it was made here. You just paid a middle man is all. I'll support anyone who puts out a good product no matter where it's from.

It depends. I'm a US customer. Orders from domestic retailers like White Mountain Knives and BladeHQ are pretty quick. However, anything shipping direct from China seems to be taking longer than usual. I've had items from Drop (Massdrop) and other places, including a Sofirn flashlight and a knife from Kizer, held up for over a month now.

Got a CS Kobun as a gift. Expecting it hopefully by this week. As more of a folder guy, it’s nice to have fun with fixed blades too every now and then.
