I'm looking for metal parts of a folding knife. Where is the best place to get them? I want my knives to look professional as I'm making the handle but do not want to make the metal parts. Online? Certain stores? Should I just find other knives and disassemble them.

There are some very nice knife kits out there. This one was found by a buddy online at a wood working store in Texas. He asked me to build it up for him, (I am a knife maker but only do fixed blades). As I owed him a favor, I sent it off to another buddy to engrave the bolster:
