I have a knife pattern question.
Is the electrician's knife a traditional knife pattern?

Yes. In the Traditional subforum, there is a fairly recent thread that discusses the history of th pattern, which, if I recall correctly, dates to somewhere around WW I. The TL-29 designation comes along a little later.

The pattern also meets the Subforum’s criteria for discussion there, if that is what you wanted to know.
