Motejano,

I could stare at your work all day. If there were a museum containing nothing but your pieces, I would fly to Spain just to see it. I can't even imagine what if must be like to make something so incredible. I just carved my wife a wooden spoon, and THAT gave me a feeling of pride. To make something like your knives... I can't imagine.

I get excited every time I see that you have posted a new set of pictures!

Mike

Thank you for their words friends.

Friend Mike

I am glad him to enjoy with my works. I have sometimes felt the sensation that my style is not appreciated sufficiently in the forums.
I want to thank him their respect and I will send you a picture of my best work, so that you keep it as a memory.
It is a knife of great value and my work teacher ;
:confused: Mike, I have tried to send a picture to their mail, but it doesn't allow me the forum. If he/she sends me a personal message with their mail, I will send him some pictures.

A greeting

Montejano :)

Gracias por sus palabras amigos .

Amigo Mike

Es un cuchillo de gran valor y mi obra maestra ;

:confused: Mike , he intentado enviarle una foto a su correo , pero no me permite el foro . Si me envía un mensaje personal con su correo , le enviaré unas fotos .

Un saludo

Montejano

why would you think your work is not appreciated. is it because because the whole forum does not post a response? i usually don't post a response to your work and many other makers work. i am usually in such awe that any attempt to put into words how inspiring, beautiful, perfect, genious, and truly masterful the knife/sword is looks feable. sometimes a work of art has no words to equal it. i wish i had the imagination to come up with any of your designs let alone the skill to bring it to life. that goes for a lot of the knife makers here. i would be happy to build one of the knives most of you throw away. i work nights and come home early in the morning, usally grumpy and bring up this site and check the gallery and forums just to unwind and get right in the head again. i thank all of you craftsmen/women for posting your work for us to see.

I am overcome with awe at every one of your knife photos, and this new knife is no exception. I've never seen anything like it. Once again, your work is breathtaking.

I have sometimes felt the sensation that my style is not appreciated sufficiently in the forums.
If you look at the topic, you can see that hundreds of people have viewed your knife photos. Some of us look specifically for new photos and knives by you, even if we don't leave a comment every time.

Best Wishes,
Bob

As always, your work is amazing.
The level of craftsmanship required to create the knives you make is really amazing.
While your style may not be mainstream, or a user knife, they are still excelent works of art that many of us appreciate.

Thank you friends for their words.
I understand that in occasions it is difficult to express the emotions with words ;
To my it also happens me when I see a beautiful knife of other artisans of the forum.

Like I said before. Your knives are the best. They are the most beautiful knives I have EVER laid eyes on. You have some amazing talent. If I become rich I am going to have a collection full of your knives :eek:

Montejano, I have never seen such a beautiful knife! It must have taken you many, many hours. Just awesome.

Can you tell us anything about your personal ideas that inspired you to make the knife?
I am wondering if the design follows some particular historical style.
I am also wondering what the inscription, "strong water" means.

Anything else you can tell us about the knife, such as construction methods, would also be appreciated, if you can share that information. I am very curious about this knife!

Thanks very much for sharing your craftsmanship!

Friend Pocketknife

Thank you for their interest.
It is a knife of my personal and comparative collection with others of my collection, it is not of those most elaborated ones.
The style is " Rebirth " and the term dilutes strong he/she refers to the engraving with acids. I use my father's inherited technique and improved in their technique, as they made it in last century.

To describe the elaboration process, it is not possible with words, because there would be to have seen it carry out.

A greeting

Montejano
